Rob LeQuelenec
Rob moved to Edmonton 32 years ago and has been a dedicated volunteer with 630 CHED Santas Anonymous for 30 years. In his time in Edmonton, Rob has acted as an owners’ representative for various construction projects. His experience in overseeing the design and construction of warehouses in Edmonton is an asset to the Jerry Forbes Centre. Rob has recently retired allowing him more time to participate in this project. He was the 2007 recipient of the Gary Draeger Memorial Award, for outstanding long term volunteer service to 630 CHED Santas Anonymous.

Rob started volunteering with 630 CHED Santas Anonymous because he believed that the welfare of children is important for the development of a strong community. He  is participating in the Policy committee because he believes the development of partnerships in our new facility will allow all organizations to better serve the city of Edmonton.

Ivan Sawchuk
Born and raised in Edmonton. After serving in the Canadian Military for 10 years, Ivan has been a commercial banker for the past 25 years, currently employed with Servus Credit Union. These two careers have taken Ivan across Canada and he has lived and worked in just about every province of this great country. Nonetheless, Ivan considers Edmonton to be the best place to live and he chose it to be his home.

Ivan has been a board member of the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton since 1996; and has been finance chairman of the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton for 9 years.

Ivan has joined the Santas Workshop Policy Committee because the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton has enjoyed a long association with 630 CHED Santas Anonymous and will be an equity participant in the Jerry Forbes Centre project that will provide a permanent home for 630 CHED Santas Anonymous and the Christmas Bureau –allowing for increased synergies between our two organizations. As well, the warehouse project will offer warehouse and office space to numerous other not-for-profit organizations in Edmonton, enhancing the ability of all Edmontonians to help those in need in our city.
