Debbie has been the Executive Director with 630 CHED Santas Anonymous for 4 years. Since 2005 she has incorporated the charity under the Companies Act of Alberta as a non-profit company and obtained registered status as a charity with Canada Revenue Agency; allowing taxable receipts to be issued after 51 years. Prior to joining the charity; Debbie spent 10 years as a volunteer in her community while raising her 3 daughters. As a volunteer, Debbie was part of a team to set up a new Community League for Brookview and then as Chairman of a major playground project, overseeing the construction of a new playground for Brookview Community League. Her current volunteer joy is working as the administrator for Riverbend Basketball with her husband Tim, overseeing over 300 youth from age 7 to 17.
Debbie’s background includes 14 years as an IT consultant participating in computer projects as a project manager, consultant and business analyst. Debbie has lived in Edmonton for 20 years.
