Debbie Walker
Debbie has been the Executive Director with 630 CHED Santas Anonymous for 4 years. Since 2005 she has incorporated the charity under the Companies Act of Alberta as a non-profit company and obtained registered status as a charity with Canada Revenue Agency; allowing taxable receipts to be issued after 51 years.
 
Prior to joining the charity; Debbie spent 10 years as a volunteer in her community while raising her 3 daughters. As a volunteer, Debbie was part of a team to set up a new Community League for Brookview and then as Chairman of a major playground project, overseeing the construction of a new playground for Brookview Community League. Her current volunteer joy is working as the administrator for Riverbend Basketball with her husband Tim, overseeing over 300 youth from age 7 to 17.
 
Debbie’s background includes 14 years as an IT consultant participating in computer projects as a project manager, consultant and business analyst. Debbie has lived in Edmonton for 20 years.
 
 
Chelsea Draeger (Currently on Maternity Leave)
Born and raised in Edmonton, Chelsea has been a volunteer with 630 CHED Santas Anonymous for 17 years and has joined the Santas Workshop team to assist with Fund Development. Her previous fund development experience includes the positions of Fund Development Manager for the Alberta SPCA and Western Regional Fundraising Coordinator for MADD Canada. Chelsea also served as the Marketing and Promotions Director of 630 CHED.
 
Chelsea’s father, Gary Draeger, was the head ELF, running the 630 CHED Santas Anonymous campaign for over 20 years. Chelsea is honoured to be working on a project that will ensure a future for the organization that her father loved so much.
 
 
Melanie McKale
Melanie’s first experience with 630 CHED Santas Anonymous was a wrapping bee five years ago.  After her first present was wrapped, she fell in love with the organization, its vision and its volunteers.  Now she is very excited to try and fill Chelsea Draeger’s shoes as the Fund Developer for this monumental project. 

Melanie’s background includes five years at Corus Entertianment, most recently as an Account Manager for 92.5 JOE FM.  She also brings a background in both creative and technical communications from companies such as Intuit Canada.
