Jerry Forbes Centre for Community Spirit will be a multi-tenant, non-profit centre and volunteer workshop. Our goal is to achieve the following: 1) A space for non-profit organizations to work in collaboration with one another for increased efficiencies, reduced operating costs and enhanced synergies in the charitable sector.
2) A destination for volunteerism – a place where volunteer opportunities would ideally be available on a daily basis. Such opportunities would not only enhance non-profit program delivery but inspire community spirit and awareness.
We have engaged Group2 Architecture Engineering to assist us in building Jerry Forbes Centre to LEED® Gold certification. Synergy Projects and Williams Engineering are also assisting us with the design and planning processes. Finally, a committee of project experts is guiding all processes related to facility infrastructure.
timelines To date, we have completed our conceptual and schematic design phase and plan to execute the construction of Jerry Forbes Centre to the below timelines. Funding benchmarks will drive the build schedule.
