 Inspired by the needs of Edmonton’s less fortunate children, the legacy of 630 CHED Santas Anonymous began over 55 years ago and has now become the catalyst for a larger vision; the vision for Jerry Forbes Centre for Community Spirit (Jerry Forbes Centre) – a volunteer centre and multi-tenant office and workshop space.More than a physical structure, Jerry Forbes Centre will be the first step in the creation of a charity village built on the promise to house non-profit organizations in shared space with collaborative business practices -- and on the promise to promote community spirit and volunteerism benefiting all of Greater Edmonton for decades to come. In recognition of where Santas Anonymous began and in anticipation of the future of our non-profit community in Jerry Forbes Centre for Community Spirit, the theme it takes a child to raise a village speaks to where we've been and where we're headed.
